RedactWorks finds personal and sensitive information in your document, highlights every item for you to approve, then permanently blacks it out. The text under every black box is removed, not painted over, and the finished file is re-scanned to verify nothing you approved is still there. No other redaction app on Android does that.

WHAT IT REDACTS

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick a file — PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, an image or a photo of a document. Scanned pages are read with OCR.
2. Review the findings. Every item is highlighted in yellow so you can see exactly what will be removed. Approve, skip, or tell the AI what to change in plain language.
3. Approve, and RedactWorks applies permanent black-box redaction and removes the underlying text.
4. The redacted file is re-extracted and re-scanned. If anything you approved is still present, your download is held until you've seen it.
5. Download the redacted PDF or share it straight from your phone.
