User Reviews

Users praise Equate as an accurate, fast, and easy-to-use calculator and unit converter with a clean interface and useful features like history tape and customization. However, multiple reviews point out issues with outdated or missing currency conversion data, unresponsiveness from developers, and occasional internet errors affecting currency updates. Some users desire additional specialized units and improvements like automatic dark mode switching. Despite these cons, the app remains favored for its reliability, versatility, and ad-free experience.

Simple, quick, and intuitive interface with a good graphical user interface.

Supports a wide range of units and customizable buttons for conversions.

Cons

Currency conversion rates are sometimes inaccurate and not updated regularly.
Developer unresponsive to emails and updates are infrequent, leading to perception of app abandonment.
Currency conversion feature sometimes fails with "Internet timeout" errors.
Lack of some specific or obscure units desired by users (e.g., light output units, density, troy pound).
