Pros
- Great for ADHD users to improve productivity and manage time effectively.
- Syncs with Todoist and cross-platform support (desktop, iOS, Android).
- Customizable features like timers, reminders, and ambient sounds (background noise, chimes).
- Supportive and responsive development team and community.
- Fun and visually appealing UI with useful task prioritization and scheduling features.
Cons
- Requires subscription after a very short free trial (3-7 days), which many users find too restrictive and potentially predatory for ADHD users.
- Notifications, alarms, and chimes sometimes do not work properly, especially when the screen is off or in background.
- Lack of dark mode, which users expect for visual comfort.
- Some usability issues like difficulty inputting times directly and cumbersome tutorials.
- Limited scheduling features: cannot set fixed appointment times or schedule tasks at specific future times.

| 2025-01-22 | Absolutely loving Llama Life! I've been trying to find my productivity groove for years & finally have it figured out. I'm using Todoist to keep my projects & tasks organized, and Llama Life for my daily focus & getting tasks done - I love that it syncs with my Todoist daily list. I'm using most of the features (background noise, chimes & alarms, morning routine, pomodoro etc..) and am really happy with it all. The price is fair and support is great too. | ||

| 2024-12-25 | Looks really interesting, but you can't even try it without a subscription (even if a free trial is included). Personally, I prefer a one-off payment to a subscription (which is very rarely justified), but there's something particularly sinister about subscription-based apps aimed at people with ADHD. They'll get excited about it, but then forget to cancel anyway, won't they? | ||

| 2024-12-19 | Cannot start trial without giving out the payment data. Which for a ADHD app is deeply predatory. Edit: as it is the tradition the developer replies with a non-answer. | ||

| 2024-12-18 | Really happy there's an Android app now! I've used llamalife for ages, so it's very convenient that I can use it on my phone in a dedicated app now. | ||

| 2024-12-01 | Haven't tested it yet (Because I've just finished all my school work at the time I'm writing this because exams) but the idea seems fun. So ummmm 5 stars until then I guess. Hopefully I remember to update this rating. | ||

| 2024-11-19 | REQUIRES subscription, no full free version. Especially for a product specifically geared towards people with ADHD (who would tend to forget subscriptions, and may struggle with spending impulsively), I find this incredibly distasteful at the very best, but really it's just straight up manipulative Edit: Canceling at any time is not good enough if you force the premium trial in the first place 🙄 | ||

| 2024-11-15 | Love the app and Not Now list. Looking forward to hard start times, it would be perfect if there were seperate groups/blocks of tasks that you can change the start time for. Ex: a morning routine at 8, get home routine at 6, and night routine at 10, and still be able to add tasks into empty time around them (and see how much time I'll have between routine blocks). Visually could be brackets to the side of tasks or highlighted borders. Also I NEED audio reminders, especially 1min left, 5m left!! | ||

| 2024-11-14 | I like it but really wish there was better reporting/analytics to see patterns (over weeks/months) as to how I'm spending my time and when I'm spending more time than planned, trouble transitioning between tasks, etc | ||
