User Reviews

Users appreciate the app's high-quality, engaging videos and useful content for Chinese learners of all ages. However, many report significant problems, including frequent crashes, loading failures, persistent update prompts, and access restrictions due to subscription models. Additionally, the app's features are less comprehensive than the website's, and users face account activation and support issues. Despite these drawbacks, the educational videos remain a highlight for users who can access them.

Pros

High-quality, engaging, and entertaining videos with nice animations.
Reading speed of videos is suitable for children, with stories split into manageable parts.
Useful for both children and adult learners of Chinese.
The app includes pleasant sing-alongs and animations that support learning.
The website version offers additional features such as printable storybooks.

Cons

App often crashes or fails to load, resulting in a blank white screen or automatic closure.
Continuous prompts to update the app even after installing the latest version, causing the app not to work.
Subscription required to access content beyond preview mode, limiting usability.
App experience is inferior to the website; for example, video text is non-selectable with poor pinyin formatting and lack of dictionary linkage.
Account activation issues after subscription purchase and poor customer service responsiveness.
