The Drug Information Alert is an RFID-based mobile application developed to prevent drug misuse and abuse, designed to improve access to medication information for the visually impaired. By converting information previously provided only visually—such as packaging, prescriptions, and instructions—into a voice (TTS) and screen reader-compatible interface, it helps users accurately identify the name, dosage, timing, and precautions of the medications they are taking.

Designed for user convenience, it provides medication search and dosage alarms. Users receive voice notifications at scheduled times, and the application establishes a safety net that allows them to receive assistance from those around them when needed, even while maintaining an independent lifestyle.
