My First English

My First English is a play-based English learning app for kids ages 5–10 that teaches the alphabet, phonics, reading, and writing through games, animations and picture books. Developed by language education experts, the app immerses children in American and British English via friendly animal characters and a guided coach (Teacher Corie). One year of self-study content is structured for daily 20-minute sessions, blending listening, metalinguistic training, and gradual skill building.

The app includes storybook listening, letter & word writing practice, tap-and-play interactions, puzzles, shooting and brick-breaking games, and quizzes with adaptive review of mistakes. Progress tracking and repeated exposure ensure mastery of sounds, spelling, and word-image connections. Core content is free (some items in-app), making it an engaging, kid-friendly way to build early literacy, phonemic awareness and fine motor skills while having fun.
