Desk Control on Android shows strong potential: preset-based control and an easy-to-use interface can make sit/stand work smoother and, in some cases, even work with Ikea desks. However, repeated reports of unstable Bluetooth connections, constant need to re-pair, frequent app crashes, and a sparse preset feature set dominate reviews. The app is helpful when it functions, but stability and depth of features are the main pain points that need urgent fixes.

The app is fine, but lacks at usability. If I set my height to 75, I should click at the favorite position and wait. Not hold the button at my cell phone until it reaches. Is a favorite position!!

Two things make this app useless. First, it doesn't connect automatically to the desk. And second, if you want to get to the saved height, you have to hold the button. So to get the desk to the desired height you need to do three actions instead of one - open app, connect to the desk, hold the button. It would make sense only if it connects automatically when you open the app, and simply press the desired predefined height. This way, it's simpler to just use buttons on the desk.
