Review summary
Pros
- Simple, straightforward and easy to use widget for displaying text on the home screen.
- Highly customizable with options for fonts, colors, opacity, and font sizes.
- Allows launching other apps via the widget tap action.
- Does the basic job of labeling or adding titles to home screen pages effectively.
- Affordable with a one-time payment and no ads.
Cons
- Lack of option to use native/system fonts; only application's own fonts available.
- No font preview in the font selection dropdown, making font choice harder.
- Can't disable or customize tap actions effectively; tap often opens widget settings unintentionally.
- No way to edit or modify existing widgets without recreating them.
- Limited text alignment and positioning options within the widget.

| 2025-01-21 | Brilliant simple little app, but 1 little feature that would make this perfect would be to add a outline option so my white text can stand out with a scalable outline... Shadow feature is oka but not what I'm looking for. | ||

| 2025-01-15 | exactly what I want. However, I suggest adding frames and custom colour options. Also left, right, center alignment will improve it. | ||

| 2025-01-06 | It's great, does the job I want it for, which is to label categories of apps on my home screens. 4 stars because I can think of a couple of improvements. First, a way to clone styles across widgets. Second, the use of system fonts would be very useful. Not everyone wants stylistic fonts for utilitarian purposes. Otherwise, great job. | ||

| 2024-12-08 | Good app, but tough to figure out the coloring, background, justification, etc. A slight change from the previous version I had but works nonetheless... | ||

| 2024-11-01 | Does one thing exactly what it says on the tin for a one-off reasonable price, the old model for apps and the way it should be, thank you! (And thank you for making sure it continues to work on new versions of Android) | ||

| 2024-08-02 | This app is OK, but I really miss the AmazingText Plus app that used to be on Google Play. Compared to that app, this one is a major step backwards. For example, you can't preview the fonts in the font drop-box. The preview at top is OK, but hard to see if you choose white. There's fewer options on the whole, too. Perhaps most importantly, it doesn't seem to render the text as smoothly as AmazingText did. | ||

| 2024-07-14 | Great widget. Simple, straightforward. Exactly what I was looking for to add titles to my home screen pages. My only wish is that it allowed using Android system fonts, but the selection of provided fonts is diverse. Worth the buy! | ||

| 2024-06-06 | Been looking for this for a while. Notes and keep take up way too much space. This is sleek a beautiful - love the option for fonts, colors & transparent backgrounds. | ||

| 2024-02-20 | Works well, but it would be nice if we could: * adjust the position of the text within the widget (like upper left, lower right, etc.) * see a sample of how each font looks like without having to actually replace it to see * make the text scroll within the widget | ||

| 2023-07-19 | I love this app. The one I was using had one font, one size and one color. I title all my pages of apps according to what the apps pertain like Browsers, shopping, medical, weather. Each oage is organized to apps that are similar. Having a title at the top of page really helps. I don't waste time looking for an app, they are all grouped with similar apps. Being able to design the title with different colors and fonts makes it look cool and no wasted time. | ||
