A new tourism environment has been created by the Nankai Trough Earthquake Emergency Information. A "life-saving app that notifies life-saving information" will help create a safe and secure new era of tourism.

◎ Main Objective (PC section + App section): The tourism industry, which was hit hard by the "Nankai Trough Earthquake Emergency Information" released on August 8, 2024, is now equipped with appropriate earthquake prevention content, providing a safe, secure, and enjoyable tourism environment.
The "Travel and Business Trip Earthquake Monitoring Service" provides safe and secure measures against earthquake disasters. By providing tourists with a life-saving app that is resistant to earthquake disasters, we will create an environment where they can enjoy tourism with peace of mind, conduct a survey on "tourists' concerns and requests," and create a new tourism landscape in the era of the "Nankai Trough Earthquake Emergency Information."

☆ Gentle Main Unit Functions (PC section): Register and manage basic emergency information such as "emergency contact information" and "contraindicated medications and allergies."

☆ Gentle Main Unit Functions (PC section): Equipped with a "Packaging Checklist" and "Souvenir Checklist" for easy support needed for travel and business trips.

◎To use the Earthquake Preparedness App, you must apply for the main "Travel/Business Trip Earthquake Monitoring Service" service; you cannot apply for the app alone.

◎At facilities designated by certain organizations affiliated with the operating company, the entire service (PC and app) may be available free of charge. In such cases, you may receive notifications from the affiliated organizations.

☆In order to protect personal information, you only need to enter your email address and travel/business trip destination (prefecture) when registering your "Registrant Information."

◎The "Lifesaving App" is more than just an information app, specializing in saving your life from earthquakes anywhere in the country. It is an action-based app that launches automatically when an Earthquake Early Warning is issued.

① Automatic Launch and Evacuation Route Display
Earthquake alert alarms are notified by the Japan Meteorological Business Support Center's Earthquake Early Warning P wave.
In addition, when an earthquake alert alarm is issued, the app automatically launches without any user interaction, simultaneously locating your current location using GPS and automatically displaying a route to the nearest evacuation shelter.
Setting your device to receive your current location can speed up initial action and increase the chances of saving your life.
However, it's important to take optimal action, such as not moving if you're in a safe, earthquake-resistant building!
This app displays designated evacuation sites, large-area evacuation sites, and other locations with a single icon.
Furthermore, the display will remain on your device screen even if your connection is poor, unless you clear it.
This feature provides directions to evacuation sites and does not guarantee safe travel. Please use it while checking safety conditions.

② Tsunami Evacuation Facility (Building) Route Display
This feature appears if the device owner is within a tsunami zone.
The concentric circles with a 500m radius display make it easy to see the distance to tsunami evacuation facilities (buildings), allowing you to quickly select a facility.
To use this feature, you must select the tsunami evacuation facility (building) that you believe is most appropriate.
This feature provides directions to tsunami evacuation facilities (buildings) and does not guarantee safe travel. Please use it while checking safety conditions.

To use this feature, you must register family members and other people you want to check on in your "Contacts" section.

④ Location Sharing
To use this feature, you must register family members and other people you want to share location information with in your "Contacts" section.
After an earthquake occurs, GPS location search may be difficult depending on your internet connection.
Please understand this before using this feature.

⑤ Route Display to Evacuation Shelters
To ensure reliability, evacuation shelter data is collected directly from the websites of municipalities across Japan.
Since the type and name of evacuation shelters vary slightly by municipality, icons are displayed to indicate whether they are designated evacuation shelters, welfare evacuation shelters, or temporary accommodation facilities.
In some municipalities, evacuation shelters may also serve as evacuation sites.
This feature only notifies you of the location of evacuation shelters and does not guarantee safe travel. Please use this feature while checking your safety.

⑥ Evacuation Completion Notification to Evacuation Shelters
To use this feature, you must register people you want to notify in your "Contacts" section. This feature is only available if you have evacuated to an evacuation shelter in this app.

⑦ Display Route to Home (Useful when it's difficult to get home)
To use this feature, you must select "Register Home" in the registration menu.
This feature is effective for those unable to return home.
You can display the route to your home, allowing you to follow the map to find your way home without getting lost.
Please note that this feature only provides directions to your home and does not guarantee safe travel. Please use the feature while checking safety conditions.

⑧ Earthquake Early Warning Reception Location Setting
You can set your preferred location for receiving Earthquake Early Warnings anywhere in the country. Setting this setting is required for notifications.

⑨ Nationwide Evacuation Site/Shelter Search
Data on evacuation sites, tsunami evacuation facilities (buildings), and shelters covers approximately 190,000 locations nationwide, from Hokkaido to Okinawa.
To ensure reliability, data is collected directly from the websites of municipalities across the country.

⑩ Current Location Map
You must enable your carrier's GPS function. You can also disable location sharing when the app is not running by selecting "GPS function on only at startup" in the GPS function conditions when registering the app.

⑪ Favorite Location Settings and Route Display
To use this app, you must register a favorite location.
You can register any location on the map, such as your travel accommodation or workplace.
After experiencing an earthquake, tap the registration icon to display a route, allowing you to navigate unfamiliar locations without getting lost.
This feature only provides directions to favorite locations and does not guarantee safe travel. Please use it while checking safety conditions.
