The Q Active App allows users of the Q Active audio system to have basic control of the system such as volume, play, pause, skip track. The App shows the user what is currently playing by artist, album, track name and cover art. The user can set various custom settings for the audio system such as enable or disable sources, set specific turn on volumes, rename the system, turn alert notification sounds on or off or turn the front panel LED’s off after 20s inactivity.

Speakers are amazing, but the app keeps forgetting input configuration, and then sometimes it's impossible to get audio unless you reboot the whole system. Easily the least reliable and frustrating product I've ever owned. Difficult to find help as most help links seem to be broken on the website.

Not an audiophile grade app! The q active speakers are ok, but the app doesn't have much control over the hub. Basic items like an equalizer are missing. Can't turn off the hub from the app. Can't switch it to WiFi from the app. It's a network-oriented system, but should be controlled from the app
