# Introduction to main functions

1. We prevent exposure to harmful content (harmful sites/harmful apps) to ensure your child’s healthy use of the smartphone.
- Child Phone Protector is based on a database of over 6 million harmful contents, including adult content, gambling, drugs, and violence.
Rest assured that we will automatically block harmful content that is harmful to your child’s emotions.

2. You can adjust the usage time to help your child form proper smartphone usage habits.

: Please allow your child to use the smartphone for about an hour to relieve stress after completing homework today!
: For the health of your child who watches YouTube all day, lock the smartphone and take a walk together!
- Child Phone Manager allows you to set your child's smartphone usage time and manage time separately for each app.
- Depending on the situation, you can enable immediate use of your smartphone, or you can also block it immediately.

3. You can check the location in real time for your child’s safety.

: If your child is going to school and it is time to come in but he does not come in, check where he is coming from.

4. If your child is in an emergency situation, you can send an SOS to your parents or acquaintances.

① Please enable the function on the parent's mobile phone so that the child can send an SOS.
② Please specify the contact number to receive the SOS. (Up to 4 people in total.)
③ Explain to your child how to send an SOS in an emergency.
: You must press the power button 5 times in quick succession.

# How to use
- Child Phone Guard is only available to customers who subscribe to the LG U+ Youth Plan or Child Phone Guard additional service.
- Adult content blocking services are provided free of charge to customers who subscribe to the youth plan. In addition, you must subscribe to paid additional services to use smartphone time management, child location verification, and SOS services.
- You can sign up for the paid additional service for child phone protection by dialing 114 on an LG U+ mobile phone or 101 on a landline phone.
- The child phone guardian app is integrated for children and parents.
Apps for children and parents are automatically installed depending on whether you subscribe to the youth plan or the child phone protection supplementary service.
- Only Android smartphones are supported for both children and parents.
- If parents have an iPhone, they can manage their child's smartphone at the Children's Phone Keeper website (phonekeeper.uplus.co.kr).

- The location inquiry function can only be used by a legal representative or a guardian authorized by the legal representative.
- U+ Child Phone Protector operates normally on the following Android specifications.

#Accessibility
- Accessibility services are used in this app.
We use accessibility services to prevent users who are not familiar with using smartphones from unintentionally accessing harmful apps, harmful sites, and malicious sites. It is not used for any purpose other than determining whether the site you are accessing is harmful.

# This app uses “Device Administrator” permissions.

- Read phone number: Check the phone number of the device on which the app is installed to check whether to subscribe to the service.
- Read contact information: Required to transmit family contact information and text messages related to the protection of the subscriber’s phone.
- Access to exact location only in the foreground: Required to determine the subscriber's current location.
- Check physical activity: This is necessary to prevent risks caused by smartphone use while walking (smombie).
- Access location information in the background: Required to determine the subscriber's current location even when the app is not in use.
- Show notifications: The app is required to show notifications.
- Block: Required to block harmful sites and apps.
