Levamio Bereavement Guide

When someone close to you dies, a long list of things to sort out comes on top of grief. The Bereavement Guide helps you keep track – calmly, step by step, at your own pace.

HOW IT HELPS
• Tasks by time: the first 36 hours, the first week, the first months
• Deadlines with dates where an official source states them clearly – such as registering a death – as general information with sources and a date
• Reminders, only on your device
• Collect contracts and subscriptions: energy, phone, insurance, bank accounts, streaming, online accounts
• Letter templates: cancel a contract, tell a bank, insurer or landlord – filled in on your device
• Share tasks with family: who is doing what – by message, no account needed

FOR MANY COUNTRIES – AND GENERAL STEPS EVERYWHERE
Detailed, sourced guidance is available for the UK, Ireland, the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Spain, Poland and Türkiye. It comes from official government pages and laws, and we only show deadlines where an official source states them clearly. Content for Romania, Belgium and Australia is still being built – the app tells you so. In the US, Canada, Australia, Belgium and Spain many rules are set by states, provinces or regions – the app tells you when to check locally. For every other country there are general steps without deadlines, because deadlines and duties differ from country to country.
Depending on the country, content is in English, German, Polish, Romanian or Turkish. The app is available in 8 languages.

YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU
No account. Your details are stored encrypted on your device. No tracking, no ads.

FULL VERSION – ONE-OFF, NO SUBSCRIPTION
Tasks, deadlines, reminders and the contract list are free. A one-off purchase lets you copy, share and save letters as PDF, use the wording help and exchange progress as a file.

AI WORDING HELP (OPTIONAL)
If you wish, artificial intelligence can reword your letter – more personal, shorter, more formal or simpler. It only receives the text with placeholders, never your details, and only after your explicit consent. Suggestions are labelled and may contain mistakes.

IMPORTANT
The Bereavement Guide gives general information and is not legal advice. Levamio is not affiliated with any government agency. When a deadline starts and which rules apply depends on the country and your situation. A local authority, probate court, notary or lawyer can help – in the UK also a solicitor, the probate service or Citizens Advice.

If things feel too much, the app lists helplines for your country – in the UK, for example, Samaritans, day and night, free on 116 123.
