You can also import your own list, (there no instructions but plain text files with 100 words max work perfect), which is great for learning multiple concepts plus spelling and writing at 1 time. My kids love the app too. They actually want to use it. I can't believe all the bad reviews in the free version complaining about paying a couple bucks for something good to help their kids. A tutor is $50/hr.

I love that I can 1) add words and record associated sounds; 2) save and export my word lists or import new ones.
