ICE Watch is built to support communities with accurate information, mutual care, and tools that help people respond thoughtfully—especially when time is limited. The app provides location-based incident alerts to keep users informed about reports happening near them. When a user or other community members create an incident report with a location, the app checks the user’s current or saved home location and sends notifications if the report falls within their selected radius. Background location access allows the app to detect nearby incidents and notify users even when the app is not actively open.
