LenexaCARE

LenexaCARE is a notification app for care staff working with LenexaCARE bed-position sensors (DataBoxes). It delivers real-time alerts when a sensor detects that a resident has moved to the edge of bed, left the bed, or is no longer present, so staff can respond quickly.

Who it is for

LenexaCARE is provided to nurses, carers, and supervisors at care facilities that have licensed LenexaCARE from Lenexa Medical. Accounts are created by your facility administrator. The app is not intended for the general public or for use by residents themselves.

What you can do

* Receive push notifications the moment a sensor reports a position change at one of your assigned beds.
* See a live overview of every assigned bed grouped by status (in bed, edge of bed, out of bed, no data).
* Acknowledge an alert. Other assigned staff see the acknowledgement immediately.
* Open a short visualisation of the sensor reading around an alert and save or share it for review.

For admins

Admin users can register new DataBoxes, assign staff to beds, manage device access, and apply or cancel snoozes per bed when a planned care event would otherwise generate predictable alerts.

Privacy and security

LenexaCARE does not collect any directly identifying resident information. Bed identifiers map to physical sensors, not to individual people. All communication between the app and the backend is encrypted in transit and the app authenticates each session using temporary credentials issued by Amazon Cognito.
