Learn: a structured route through the vowels, consonants and signs of your chosen script, opening with an introduction to how that script works and why it is shaped the way it is. Every letter arrives with a simple word and an image, so the shape attaches to something real. Whether you are learning the Devanagari used for Hindi, Marathi and Sanskrit, or the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati or Gurmukhi script, the path is built for that script specifically.

Practice: quiz yourself by sound or by letter. Set how many questions you want. The app tracks your mastery and weights the questions toward the letters you keep missing.

No more watching a video and hoping. Portal now teaches handwriting in three stages:

1. The app draws the letter for you, stroke by stroke

2. You trace over it

3. You write it on a blank canvas, and the app tells you whether you got it right

Then Practice calls out a letter and asks you to draw it from memory, with the same mastery tracking working out which letters need another pass. Learn to write Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Punjabi and Sanskrit letters properly, with the strokes in the right order.
