Leaphy

Leaphy® is a free Chrome extension designed to improve the accessibility, readability, and accuracy of Patient Information Leaflets (PIL) for medications. By scanning the barcode or 2D data matrix code on the packaging, users can quickly access up-to-date leaflets for medicines available on the Belgian market, with plans to expand access across Europe.

The app supports multiple languages including Dutch, French, and German, matching the user's phone language settings. It provides detailed medicine information such as pharmaceutical form, price, reimbursement, prescription status, packaging images, and any additional notes from the pharmaceutical industry. Leaphy also allows users to organize medicines into up to three personal libraries, each holding 20 medicines, and features a help function for user support. Continuous updates will add new health management features to enhance the user experience.
