User Reviews

The VHS Shop impresses with its nostalgic retro graphics and a unique horror atmosphere, drawing players into its immersive setting of a video store. While the gameplay involving menial tasks is appreciated, users complain about intrusive ads disrupting the horror mood. Many are disappointed that only the first chapter is available and find it mild in scares, with a lack of jump scares and an unfinished story ending on a cliffhanger. Despite these issues, there is strong anticipation and enthusiasm for the release of chapter 2.

Players are excited and eager for chapter 2
Overall positive reception and appreciation for the game's concept

Cons

Excessive and intrusive ads, especially banners at the top of the screen
Story is incomplete; only chapter 1 is available
Chapter 1 considered somewhat mild or disappointing in horror elements
Lack of jump scares and surprise moments in chapter 1

Sooooo good, but full with ads. Look I get that if you want to make this a free game you'll have to add ads, but not in the top part of the screen bc it really takes the horror sence away
