Canal Pilot

You are the dispatcher of a narrow shipping canal. Vessels travel toward each other along a single line of reaches, and they can only slip past where a passing bay opens to the side. Move one vessel at a time, tuck an oncoming ship into a bay, let the other one through, then bring it back out. Two vessels can never share the same reach, so every clearance takes a careful sequence of steps.

Tap a vessel to select it, then tap a free neighboring cell to slide it one step along the canal or into a passing bay. Upbound and downbound ships each carry a mark showing their exit. Clear the canal by walking every vessel off its own end without ever letting two meet in one reach. Undo rolls back a single move, and Restart returns the starting layout whenever a position leaves you boxed in.

Work through 24 handcrafted levels. Early canals are short with two vessels and one bay, while later ones stretch longer with more ships, more passing bays, and traffic arriving from both directions. Each level has a tested reference solution, so there is always a clean route to find.

Every finish is scored by moves and time. Meet the target move count for three stars, and beat your own record to earn a new best. Your progress, best results, and stars are stored on your device and stay put between sessions.
