Lava Leap

Lava Leap is a hot, fast one-thumb arcade climber set deep inside an erupting volcano.

A glowing ember climber clings to a ledge at the bottom of a crater while a wall of molten lava creeps up from below. Stacked ledges of cooling rock zig-zag upward into the dark. Tap the LEFT half of the screen to leap up-and-left, tap the RIGHT half to leap up-and-right -- each tap fires one diagonal hop. Read the arc, time the tap, and land squarely on the next ledge. Land dead-centre for a PERFECT and bonus points; leap short or long and you plunge past the rock into the lava below.

The catch: the lava never stops rising. Linger too long and it swallows you whole, so every ascent is a race upward. Deeper craters send the molten line up faster and stack trickier rock -- ledges that slide side-to-side and dark crumbling ledges that collapse a heartbeat after you land, forcing you to leap on before the ground gives way. Glowing embers float above some ledges; scoop them up on your way out for extra score. Climb the ledges each crater demands to escape the eruption, then chase a hotter best score on every one.
