Features & Capabilities

This app takes a given Latitude and Longitude coordinate, in either degree or decimal format, and converts it into an Ordnance Survey grid reference, in either numerical or letter format.
The app also translates backwards, meaning it can convert an OS grid reference to a Latitude and Longitude.

If you have an internet connection, the app will also return your coordinate's what3words equivalent.

If you have your location enabled, the app can get your smartphone's current Latitude and Longitude coordinate and tell you where in the Ordnance Survey grid you are!

The app doesn't match the ordnance survey transformation tool. It seems to be a few metres out. Uses Modolenski transformation perhaps? The app should state what it uses.

A great app and never fails. Being in Mountain rescue this converts the RV grid to maps with no messing around and saves times.

Didn't know that I needed this until I found it, and then realised that I've needed it for years. Walking guide books use OSGB grid references, Google Maps doesn't. But using this I can enter the grid reference for the start of a walk, convert it to lat long, then send that to Google Maps and navigate to there. Will be very useful.
