Language In Use

Language In Use is a free, ad-supported language learning app and website that grew from a learner’s notebook idea. It supports English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, and French, letting users build customizable word collections (“dictionaries”), attach links to videos and articles, practice verb conjugations, and reinforce vocabulary with interactive games. The system is continually improved with user feedback.

The website and mobile app work together: curated articles show translated key words, and with one click learners can add words to their app dictionaries. Dictionaries are shareable and the platform is designed for independent learners, teachers, and anyone who wants a simple, flexible way to learn languages on their own terms.
