My Language Time: Immersion

My Language Time is a simple and beautiful offline language immersion diary that helps you track the media you consume in your target language. Log movies, podcasts, videos, and books in one calm, motivating space, then watch your daily progress, weekly consistency, and immersion streak grow over time.
Built for language learners who want a lightweight and focused tracker, the app works fully on-device with no login, no internet, no cloud sync, and no permissions. It is designed to help you stay consistent without distractions, so you can spend less time organizing and more time actually immersing yourself in the language you want to learn.
On the home screen, you can quickly see today’s immersion progress, your daily goal progress bar, total minutes for today, your current streak, and a motivational message based on your activity. Recent diary entries are also visible so you can look back at what you watched, listened to, read, or studied most recently.
Adding a new entry is fast and simple. For each immersion session, you can record:
Media type: movie, podcast, video, or book
Language
Duration in minutes
Title
Notes about what you learned
Date, with today selected by default
The entries list gives you a clean overview of all your study and immersion activity. Each entry shows the media type, title, language, duration, date, and a short note preview, with easy options to edit or delete entries whenever needed.
The stats screen helps you understand your learning habits in a useful and motivating way. View your total time per language, minutes today, minutes this week, daily streak, goal completion, weekly progress bars, best language by total minutes, and total number of entries. It is a simple way to turn scattered language exposure into visible progress.
My Language Time also includes a daily goal setting area so you can choose how many immersion minutes you want to reach each day. The default goal is 20 minutes, but you can adjust it to match your schedule and learning style. Everything is saved locally, including your entries and settings.
The design is minimal, warm, and motivating. Soft backgrounds, clean cards, readable typography, media icons, progress visuals, language color chips, and encouraging messages create a calm “language garden” feeling without making the app feel childish. It stays polished and practical while adding just enough personality to make daily tracking feel rewarding.
