Hey Ladybird: School Admin

Hey Ladybird is the AI-powered school admin app for UK parents. Point your camera at a letter, forward a school email, or share from WhatsApp and Hey Ladybird extracts every date, cost, contact, action item, profile detail and expiry date. Most apps stop at dates. We find all six.

You didn't sign up to be your family's unpaid secretary. But here you are, staring at a crumpled school letter at 10pm, typing dates into your phone, and hoping you haven't already missed non-uniform day.

My husband Joe built this app for me when he saw me crying at the kitchen table over a missed school trip payment. Now we want to help you too.

Hey Ladybird gives you that time back. It's the family app that actually reads your school letters for you. And now it's built for both of you.

BUILT FOR TWO
Invite your partner to your family. One calendar, one to-do list, one filing cabinet. Whatever one of you scans, forwards or shares, the other can open and sort. No more being the only one who knows what's going on.

HOW IT WORKS
Point the Ladybird Lens at any school letter. In about 10 seconds, our AI reads the whole document and pulls out:

Dates: Parents' evenings, inset days and trips drop straight into your family calendar.
Costs: Hidden payments and voluntary contributions, with direct links to ParentPay, SchoolMoney, Arbor and more.
Action Items: Consent forms, packed lunches, costumes. Turned into a to-do list so nothing gets forgotten.
Contacts: The teacher's email, the school office number. Saved in one tap.
Profile Details: Class, teacher, allergies, uniform sizes. Kept up to date without retyping.
Expiry Dates: Medications, passports, insurance. All tracked with red, amber and green warnings.

YOU ARE ALWAYS IN CONTROL
Everything the AI finds goes through a review screen where you check, edit and approve before it's saved. You always have the final say.
