In Broodkeep, every dungeon run forges your lineage. When your starchild falls, breed the next generation on a 3×3 grid. Line up three "fallen" heroes vertically and a glass-cannon bonus activates: +5 ATK, +5ms parry window, −2 HP. Line up three "elders" and balanced power flows through your bloodline. No gacha. No pay-to-win. No stamina timers. Monster breeding meets old-school dungeon crawling.

🌑 YOKAI DUNGEON CRAWLER
Battle 51 hand-designed yokai across 7 biomes — Cave, Crypt, Sanctum, Forge, Garden, Abyss, Void. Each biome has its own atmosphere, chiptune track, and mid-boss. Conquer all seven to face Kiso, the sealed origin demon, in a 3-phase final showdown.

⚔️ REACTIVE TURN-BASED COMBAT
Turn-based at the surface, real-time underneath. Every enemy attack telegraphs a parry window — tap at the right moment to counter for double damage. Different yokai bring different rhythms: spear thrusters, multi-hit dashers, ranged casters, charging brutes. Inspired by Expedition 33's defensive timing, distilled to a single tap on mobile.

🧬 LINEAGE BREEDING
After each run, place fallen starchildren on a 3×3 grid. Patterns matter: a vertical of "fallen" gives a glass-cannon build. A horizontal of "elders" gives balanced growth. Stats are capped, so you can't snowball forever — every run still demands skill.

✨ 32 STARCHILD ARCHETYPES
22 base archetypes mapped to the Tarot major arcana, plus 10 Yokai-Fusion archetypes unlocked by clearing mid-bosses in New Game+. Each Fusion has a unique passive — biome-locked bonuses that reward planning runs around the right environment.

🎮 ONE-HANDED PORTRAIT PLAY
A single control circle handles movement, 8-direction parry input, and aim mode for thrown items. No virtual joystick clutter. Perfect for commutes, sofa sessions, anywhere you can't use both hands.
