Kula is a quiet, private family-tree app. Build it together with your relatives, keep it warm with birthdays and shared photos.

The whole extended family in one place — circles around you, a generation tree, or a clean list. Pan, zoom, tap anyone to see their profile.

✅ Both sides confirm every connection
No admin, no "head of family". Every relationship is two-party: it joins the tree only when both people agree. Sensitive edges stay quiet.

🎂 Birthday and anniversary nudges
The app surfaces upcoming celebrations as soft cards. A one-tap "write a wish" composer with a template is built in.

📸 Family moments
Photos and short notes flow into a private family feed. Likes, comments, and a clear divider for posts you haven't seen yet.

📱 WhatsApp invites
Invite relatives in one tap via WhatsApp — a friendly link with your invite code.

🔒 Private by design
The family graph is shared only with relatives you've connected to. No ads, no third-party tracking sold or shared, no data brokers. The app uses Cloudflare and Firebase for storage and reliability, and Amplitude for anonymous usage analytics. Phone numbers are hashed before being sent to analytics.

🌐 Hindi and English
Both languages are available; switch any time from the You tab.

📋 Requirements
WhatsApp number — to sign in via OTP. Internet for syncing the family graph and photos. The camera and photo library are only accessed when you take or pick a photo to share. The contact picker reads your contacts on-device only to fill the "Add a relative" form — your contact list is never uploaded.
