User Reviews

Overall, users praise RemoDB for its clean UI, good autocomplete, and solid remote database support, with many noting it works well for everyday tasks and remote connections. However, recurring concerns center on aggressive ads that disrupt use, several UI and data-entry regressions (including hidden Save button, data loss on errors, and keyboard/input problems), connection/SSH compatibility issues (TLS3 support and negotiation failures), and feature limits like no table/view search and free-mode editing restrictions, which hinder larger databases or quick navigation.
Pros
  • Easy-to-use interface with strong autocomplete.
  • Good remote DB support with easy connections to remote servers (VPS, etc.).
  • Generally reliable and works well for standard tasks.
  • Looks good and covers basics effectively.
Cons
  • Intrusive ads degrading the experience (including full-screen ads).
  • UI/data-entry regressions causing data loss and broken editing (hidden Save button, input issues, and queries not saving).
  • Connectivity issues: TLS/SSH compatibility problems (TLS3 not supported; SSH negotiation failures).
  • Not suitable for large databases or slow performance on big data.
  • Free-mode restrictions and missing fast table/view search/navigation.

pos. waste of time. can't do anything without paying. Just post a price instead of lying and just saying in-app-purchases. After 6 tries couldn't connect to DB without a whole bunch of adds. Avoid this app at all cost.
