VHDL Programming Compiler

The VHDL Programming Compiler Chrome extension enables users to write, compile, and run VHDL code directly from their Android devices. Designed for learners and developers alike, this tool leverages the open-source GHDL simulator, offering the capability to execute almost any VHDL code for digital and mixed-signal systems. The extension features an advanced source code editor complete with syntax highlighting, line numbers, and support for external keyboards, enhancing the coding experience on mobile devices.

Users can open, save, import, and share VHDL files seamlessly within the app. While it requires an internet connection for compiling and restricts program runtime to 20 seconds with one file execution at a time, it remains an ideal companion for quick testing and educational purposes. Note that GHDL is a simulation tool and does not currently support synthesis for netlist generation.
