Built by Kotzur, an Australian silo manufacturer, Smart Silo connects sensors in the storage to your phone so you can see what is happening inside your grain without climbing the ladder.

WHY IT MATTERS

Stored grain is one of the highest value assets on farm and its condition changes quietly. Temperature and moisture movement drives spoilage, mould growth and insect pressure. Seeing the trend early gives you time to act rather than react, and gives you a record of how the grain was managed through the season.

FUMIGATION RECORD

Log each fumigation against the silo it was applied to, alongside the conditions recorded inside the storage at the time. Over a season this builds a record of how each parcel of grain was treated and where it was held, kept against the silo rather than in a notebook or a spreadsheet.

Kotzur has manufactured sealed and aerated grain storage in Australia for decades. Smart Silo is designed around how Kotzur silos are built and sealed, so readings relate to the storage as a whole rather than to a single sensor placed inside it.

WHAT YOU NEED

Smart Silo requires compatible Kotzur Smart Silo hardware installed on your storage, plus an active account. Accounts are created by Kotzur when your equipment is commissioned and cannot be created from within the app. Contact Kotzur to arrange installation and access.
