Kosh keeps your money on your phone. Not on a server, not in an account, not shared with anyone — including us.

Most budgeting apps ask you to hand over your bank logins and then sell you a subscription for the privilege. Kosh does neither. There is no sign-up, nothing to log in to, and no way for your transactions to leave your device unless you export them yourself.

What it does
· Add a transaction in about three taps
· Accounts, categories, budgets and reports
· Transfers between accounts, including different currencies
· Repeating transactions you confirm, not ones that appear behind your back
· Search and filter by text, category, account, date or amount
· Import a CSV statement from any bank — Kosh works out the format itself
· Export everything to CSV whenever you like
· Encrypted backups you keep, protected by your own passphrase
· PIN and biometric lock

How private, exactly
· Your database is encrypted on the device
· No analytics, no trackers, no ads, no crash reporting
· No account, no email address, nothing to sign up for
· The app makes exactly one kind of network request: fetching exchange rates, off by default, only when you tap the button
· Everything else works in airplane mode
