Kobo Stock

Kobo Stock is the app for branch and Central Kitchen teams. It replaces the WhatsApp messages and paper dockets used to order stock, send it out, and confirm what arrived. It runs on QuikOrder.

Order from your branch
Search the product list or scan a shelf label. Set quantities against each product's order step, add a priority and the date you need it, and send. The order goes to the Central Kitchen for a decision.

Approve at the Central Kitchen
Managers see what each branch asked for next to what is actually on hand. Approve a line in full, cut it to what you have with a reason, or refuse it. Approving reserves the stock, so the same units are never promised to two branches.

Send out a delivery
Record what is actually loaded, with driver and vehicle. Production batches are picked earliest expiry first. Whatever is left of an approved order can go out on a later delivery.

Receive and count
Sign for a delivery line by line. Enter the quantity received and anything damaged. A difference from what was sent needs a reason before it will save, so a short delivery is recorded rather than argued about later.

Track every order
Each order shows its status, its quantities at every stage, its deliveries, its comments, and a timestamped history of who did what. Partial approval and partial dispatch are ordinary states, not errors.

Alerts
Low stock, out of stock, production batches nearing or past expiry, orders waiting too long for a decision, deliveries that left but were never confirmed, and receipt discrepancies. Alerts are separated into what needs attention and what is only information.

Work across locations
Switch between the branches and kitchens you have access to. What you can see and do at each one follows the access your administrator has given you.

Built for the floor
Barcode scanning, quantity steps that match trays and crates, dark mode, and screens that work at a loading bay at five in the morning.

Kobo Stock requires an account created by your administrator and a connection to your organisation's server. It cannot be used without one.
