Klovett: Reusable Checklists

Most to-do apps are built for things you do once. Klovett is built for the lists you run again and again — the shop on Saturday, the bag you pack every trip, the five things you do before a release.

Write the list once. Tick it off. Next time, clear the ticks and it is ready again — or keep it as a template and start a fresh copy whenever you need one.

WHAT IT DOES

• Lists with a progress ring
The home screen shows every list with a ring that fills as you tick. Three of eight is a glance, not a count.

• Clear all ticks, keep the list
One button at the top of a list unticks everything and leaves every item exactly where it was. This is the whole point of a packing list: you do not want to write it again, you want it blank again.

• Templates
Save any list as a template. Starting a list from it copies every item, unticked, with a name that will not collide with the copy you made last month.

• Paste a whole list at once
Copy a list from a message or a web page and paste it into the add box. Klovett splits it into one item per line and strips the bullets and numbering it came with.

• Drag to reorder
Press and hold the handle on any item and move it. The order you shop the aisles in is not the order you thought of things in.

• Six colours
Each list carries one colour, picked from six that live together on a screen without shouting.

• Search every list at once
One word finds every matching item across every list, and tells you which list it is on.

• Dark theme
Follow the system, or pin it light or dark.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO

• No permissions. Klovett asks Android for nothing at all — not storage, not contacts, not location, and not internet. Without the internet permission Android itself will not let this app open a network connection, so your lists cannot leave the phone whatever the code asks for. Open Settings › Apps › Klovett › Permissions and the list is empty.
• No account, no sign-in, no email address. Open it and start typing.
• No ads, no analytics, no crash reporting, no third-party code of that kind.
• No subscription, no paid tier, nothing locked.
• No notifications, and no items with due dates. Klovett never runs in the background and never interrupts you. It is a list, not a nag.
• No backup and no phone-to-phone transfer. Klovett opts out of both.

ABOUT YOUR DATA

Your lists live in this app's private storage on this phone. Nothing is sent anywhere, because nothing can be sent anywhere.

The honest cost of that: there is no copy of your lists anywhere else. Uninstalling the app, clearing its data, losing the phone or moving to a new one loses them, and nobody — including us — can get them back. Settings has a Delete everything button that does the same thing on purpose.
