KS Expert

Kisan Sarathi KVK Expert App is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). It is implemented by Digital India Corporation (DIC) and the Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute (IASRI).

This app is a specialized digital tool designed for KVK experts enabling them to digitally engage with farmers through region-specific, timely, and multimedia advisories. It streamlines the advisory workflow from query reception to resolution and promotes communication between experts and farmers in local language.

Through this app, KVK experts can efficiently manage farmer registration, profile updates, advisory dissemination, query resolution and call rescheduling — all within a user-friendly platform aligned with the goals of Kisan Sarathi 2.0.

Purpose & Scope

The app facilitates personalized and direct communication between KVK experts and farmers. It serves as a knowledge-sharing and capacity-building tool, designed to empower farmers through expert-driven support and advisory services.

Register new farmers, view and manage the farmer list, and update profiles for accurate and personalized advisory delivery.

Receive, view, and respond to farmer-submitted queries. Tag, prioritize, and track resolution history for better follow-up.

The app is available in Hindi and English. KVK Experts can deliver query solutions and advisories in 13 regional languages (Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Kashmiri, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu) for wider farmer outreach.
