KiloDelta — Tactical decision support for wildfire firefighters.

Designed by and for firefighters, KiloDelta brings together in a mobile app the tools you need to assess a fire before deployment and during intervention. No internet connection is required in the field — everything works offline after downloading the relevant departments.

▸ 5 TACTICAL MODULES

MAP — Complete DFCI grid (100 km / 20 km / 2 km), search by code (KD46C0…), tap-and-hold to read the cell, Geonov 5-zone subdivision with close zoom. Water point layers, routing, route to the cell, OSM basemap or satellite imagery.

SIMURATION — Propagation from 1 to 6 hours based on the Rothermel model recalibrated using the Météo France / DGSCGC Forest Weather Index (IFM). Local slope by direction, time-varying weather, fire jumps, ROS heatmap, and alerts for crossing sensitive infrastructure.
AERIAL — Aerial obstacle monitoring around a point (high-voltage lines, pylons, wind turbines, antennas, cliffs, cable cars). Configurable radius, automatic cropping. For Pelican, Dragon, and drones.
BURNED AREA — Area mapping in 3 modes (tap, GPS tower, freehand drawing), geodetic area, automatic enrichment of DFCI (Forest Fire Prevention) areas, vegetation, and buildings, PDF export and sharing.
DOCTRINE — Offline reference guide (abbreviations, glossary, fire reading, tactical maneuvers, safety). Full-text search. Aligned with GDO 2021 DGSCGC. No network required.

Download all 96 metropolitan departments + Corsica in one tap. In white zones: DFCI (Forest Fire Prevention and Control), simulation (with manual input), obstacles, doctrine—everything remains usable.

▸ CONFIDENTIALITY
No GPS position, no data sheet, no ignition is sent to a tracking server. The only network calls are to the mapping services used by the app (base maps, weather, elevation). No personal information is attached to these requests. Full details at kilodelta.fr/confidentialite.

KiloDelta is an indicative decision-making aid. It does not replace field observation, the expertise of the Incident Commander, or the official reference tools of the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS). Always follow your service's operational procedures.
