Proximity Sensor Counter

Proximity Sensor Counter is a handy Chrome extension that monitors your device's proximity sensor to count each detection event. Typically placed near your phone's speaker, the proximity sensor detects objects up close using infrared technology. This extension increments a counter whenever an object crosses the detection threshold, making it useful for tallying passing objects or simply testing your device's sensor capabilities.

Features include detection on rising or falling sensor values, configurable wait times to prevent double counting, and both graph and gauge displays for visualizing proximity distances. Counts can be tracked visually on the graph and optionally confirmed with a click sound. Note that sensor performance may vary across different devices.
