Geo Protractor is an innovative Chrome extension that lets you measure angles between two points on the GeoSphere using your device's camera and augmented reality. It overlays a sphere with azimuth and elevation lines onto your camera view, allowing you to set two positions with markers and instantly see the angle required to rotate between them. The extension leverages your device's accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetic field sensors to determine orientation, offering selectable sensor modes to suit your environment.

While the gyroscope mode may experience slow azimuth drift and the magnetic mode can be affected by metallic interference, Geo Protractor provides an intuitive and interactive way to measure angles in a geographic context directly from your device.
