2024-11-21	Du*****	Excellent simulation of a two-channel bench-type function generator. I've used it for testing audio equipment in conjunction with other test equipment. Very versatile capabilities once you get used to the UI...all buttons on-screen. Be aware that signal levels may get high enough to damage your phone's analog output circuitry if you use a 3.5mm headphone jack. I accidentally did this to my old phone, trying to drive a low impedance load...left channel became permanently distorted. Dumb mistake

2024-11-14	Ma*****	This is the first app that lets you tune frequencies to a higher degree than a single hz this is fantastic for rifeing and binaural beats. So far this is the only app I found that lets you tune it in this way. I'm very happy with this app although the user interface leaves things to be desired. The tuning bar is the most important thing in this app as well as the AM tuning

2024-10-18	Ro*****	My only gripe is that the output doesn't persist when turn the screen off. Kudos on the price and zero permissions. I would allow a permission if needed for screen off sound from this app though

2024-09-07	Ro*****	It is to work good in the old days. But one of the updates the channel One controls the left and right audio now. I have used these signal generators both professionally and on my phone. The one on the phone however doesn't work anymore. Still makes a tone. But not a stereo tone. Am I being helpful if you want mineral.

2024-07-14	Ko*****	Super useful tool. Precision adjustments. Sweeps. Noise genetators. Just brilliant. Even better when you split screen it with the Spectroid App. Your phone becomes a pretty good sound analyzer for free. Thanks much!

Three main wave forms (though sine wave only would be enough for me), whole audible range, amplitude, 2 outputs via two channels, more than enough to test your audio equipment. And some extra to tweak your 20$ scope if you're a cheap bastard like yours truly. Great job, guys!
Great tool. There might be better, but this one is free and even more important - no ads. And it's really everything you need. Three main wave forms (though sine wave only would be enough for me), whole audible range, amplitude, 2 outputs via two channels, more than enough to test your audio equipment. 2023-09-02	An*****	The best tone and sweep generator. A little more settings for tone generation would make the app better, like a wait time after sweep reaches it's stop point and/or start point if mode is set to repeat. You can make fire alarms with this app and prank people.

I was actually using this as an electronic function generator by stripping the wires on an extension able, soldering the wires to a 4ohm resistor, and then probling the resistor with an oscilloscope. It was only able to get 1v peak to peak, but it made a fine ad hoc function gen until I could buy one. It was even able to recreate many sigal types faithfully as characterized in my oscilloscope. They truly went abovr and beyond with this. Def dl it!

A bit complex yet simple, the interface takes a bit to understand but it even has an info section to help you out. Only critique is that unlike a music player, the sound won't keep playing if you switch away or lock the device... thankfully it prevents the screen from powering down and the device locking so at least it won't stop on its own even if the screen will use power for no reason.
