Kenglex

Kenglex is a practical, easy-to-use online dictionary that contains a lexicon of the English and Kiswahili words spoken in Kenya and Eastern Africa. Users can search for words to get their meaning in English with translations to Swahili and vice-versa. For every word searched, Kenglex provides its phonetic transcription and an illustration of how it is pronounced in the region. Related words, such as those with the same lexims are linked for ease of searching. Likewise, for Swahili, verbs and their derivatives - Vinyambulisho, are also listed together.
