Inventory is a streamlined app for taking stock of your inventory – using either your device's camera or a Bluetooth barcode scanner (optimized for the Inateck BCST-47). Each scanned inventory number is instantly saved as its own entry with the date and time – fast, no typing, no paper lists.

FEATURES

• Camera Scan: Scan barcodes directly with your device's camera – continuously, with audio and vibration feedback, and an optional camera light. Ideal when a handheld scanner isn't available.

• HID Keyboard Scan: The scanner connects as a Bluetooth keyboard and automatically transfers each inventory number to the list – no manual input required.

• Manual Entry: If a barcode is damaged or unreadable, the inventory number can be easily entered manually – with the same timestamps and duplicate detection.

• One entry per scan with a timestamp accurate to the second. No quantities – each inventory number is unique.

• Duplicate detection: Accidentally entered numbers are highlighted in red and counted separately, preventing any double counting.

• Notes per item: Add notes via long press or the edit button.

• Delete with confirmation prompt – individually or the entire list.

• CSV export & sharing: Share the finished list as a CSV file (email, cloud) or save it directly to a location of your choice – including a connected USB drive. Semicolon-separated, UTF-8, Excel-compatible.

• Optimized for tablets: On large screens, the list is displayed in multiple columns or with a sidebar, making optimal use of the available space.

• Automatic saving: The list is retained even after a restart.

• Scanner screen for connecting and configuring the BCST-47 (battery level, version, switching to HID mode, volume).

DATA PROTECTION

The app does not require an internet connection. All data remains exclusively on your device. No personal data is collected, transferred, or shared. A CSV file only leaves the device if you actively share or save it. The camera scan processes the camera image exclusively locally and in real time—no photos or videos are saved or transferred.

HARDWARE NOTE

Full scanner configuration requires a device with a 64-bit ARM processor (arm64). The Inateck BCST-47 is used in HID keyboard mode; other scanners that pair as a Bluetooth keyboard will also work for data capture only. The camera scan requires a built-in camera.
