I've had these speakers a few years.They work fine on bluetooth but are an expensive option for that.The better sound that should come wifi is so unreliable as to be worthless.Its galling to see this brand lauded.I would avoid.

How to upgrade the firmware to 5.2: I followed a trick I read somewhere to downgrade this app which then allowed me to download the new firmware and upload this to the speakers. The newer firmware still does not give a quick connection from phone to speakers. I often have to turn the speakers off and on or cycle between modes for Spotify to pick up the connection. It can take anywhere from 10 seconds to several minutes. Same problem when switching phones.
