This is an app designed for two people who met through an international relationship. It helps you navigate the time spent apart without being able to communicate, until your girlfriend arrives in Korea.

You are already a couple, yet you cannot understand each other. One person waits for the country they will soon be visiting, completely unaware of what is happening. Duorang fills that void.

▍ Write in each other's own languages

If the boyfriend writes in Korean, it appears on the girlfriend's screen in her own language; if the girlfriend writes in her own language, it appears on the boyfriend's screen in Korean. The original text is displayed alongside the translation.

• Send photos, videos, and files; reply; and mark as read.

• When you open a chat room, received photos remain on your phone. You do not need to save them separately.

• Save conversations as PDF — Select a time period to print both the original text and the translation together.

▍ Real-time translated subtitles during video calls

During a 1:1 video call, subtitles appear in the other person's language. If you select 'Voice + Subtitles,' you can also hear the other person's voice in your own language.

▍When you open the app, 'Us' is the first thing you see

• Current time and weather in both cities — whether it is safe to make a call

• How many days have passed since you met, and how many days are left until you meet in Korea

• 'Today Me,' a feature where you record your mood with a single tap

• Home screen widget — You can see photos, the time in both cities, and the day count without opening the app

▍Our Story

Home, Family, Neighborhood, Travel — These are photo bundles that you create by giving them your own names. You can leave a heart and a short comment on each photo, and the comment is translated into the other person's words and arrives. It is a space for two people who are far apart and unaware of each other's day to get to know one another.

▍AI Mentors for Solitary Time

For times when you have no one to ask, there is an AI mentor who has already experienced these things for you.

• Yuri — Born in the same country as your girlfriend, she met and married a Korean 5 to 10 years before you did and now lives in Korea. If you press the microphone and ask a question in her own language, she answers in her own language.

• Minsu — A Korean who dated and married a foreign girlfriend 5 to 10 years before you did. They speak in Korean.

The two do not interfere in the relationship between the lovers. They simply tell you things that are better left to you to ask directly. They are not teachers either—they do not correct mistakes or give you tests.

▍ They remember you

They remember what you learned during conversations (hometown, family, likes, current situation) and incorporate it into subsequent conversations. If you haven't opened the app for a few days, they will ask how you are doing first.

And all those conversations and memories remain solely within that person's mobile phone. They are not sent to a server.

▍ Hangul by hand and on the keyboard

There is a 'Learn' option on the Girlfriend screen. You can try writing by hand following the stroke order and also press the Hangul keyboard. It starts with greetings, food, and phrases used in the market. You can use it even without a subscription.

The app screen and conversations appear in the native language chosen by the girlfriend. The boyfriend writes in Korean. If your country is not on the list, you can select English.

▍Connecting Couples

The boyfriend signs up first to receive an invitation code, and then sends that code to the girlfriend. When the girlfriend enters the code, a request appears on the boyfriend's screen, and the connection is established only after the boyfriend accepts. Since the code circulates via text or voice, we have included a verification step.

▍Boundaries to Maintain

A girlfriend met through an international relationship is in a position where she relies on her partner for both language and circumstances. To ensure this app does not become a tool for control or surveillance, we have firmly established the following:

• No one can view the conversations or memories shared with Yuri and Minsu. Neither the other person nor we can. It stays only on your mobile phone.

• We have not included features to secretly check your partner's location or status.

• We assist with medical, legal, and visa procedures to the best of our knowledge, and leave the final decision to agencies and experts.

• Data is completely deleted upon withdrawal — including conversations and memories on your phone, profiles on the server, and chat rooms.

• Automatic phone backup is turned off. Even if backup is enabled, conversations and memories are not backed up.

▍Subscription

The subscription is based on two people, not individual accounts. If one person holds it, both use it. The boyfriend makes the payment.

• Free Trial — Use it for free for 3 days after the couple connection ends. It is not automatically charged.

• Subscription (Auto-renewing) — Standard (500 minutes of video calls · 5,000 chat messages), Premium (Unlimited video calls · 50,000 chat messages). Refills every month. You can cancel at any time via 'Subscriptions' in the Play Store, and the remaining time will be used as is even after cancellation.

• Top-up — 30 minutes (500 chat messages), 120 minutes (2,000 chat messages). It does not disappear each month and remains valid until exhausted.

• Standalone — Chat history PDF

• Pass Code — Enter the received code into the app to receive a free trial period. It is calculated after your existing period, so the remaining time will not decrease.

Prices follow the amounts displayed on the Play Store. Even without a pass, you can still log in, manage your profile, enter the code, and withdraw.
