BitCalculator Android

BitCalculator

Hex, Decimal, Octal and Binary calculator with bit operations

Features & Capabilities

BitCalculator is a powerful and ad-free calculator tailored for programmers and developers. It supports conversions and calculations across multiple numeral bases including binary, octal, decimal, and hexadecimal. Users can input values in any base and view simultaneous representations across all four formats.

The extension supports multiple modes such as signed and unsigned integers (8, 16, 32, 64 bits) and IEEE 754 floating point standards (32 and 64 bit). It includes rich bitwise operations like AND, OR, XOR, NOT, bit shifts, rotations, and modulo along with arithmetic functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The tool also supports byte ordering formats (little-endian and big-endian), bracket usage, direct bit toggling, and features a random number generator. Customize the look with four themes and enjoy smooth transitions, making BitCalculator an essential tool for programming and bit-level computations.

User Reviews

BitCalculator is widely praised for being ad-free, fast, and packed with programmer-oriented features. Users value its hex/binary/base conversions, support for signed/unsigned integers and various bit sizes, and its simple, easy-to-use interface. The tool handles both integers and floats and is useful for low-level coding work. A few users request enhancements such as a dark mode, memory registers, copy/paste, and improved history, but no major drawbacks are repeatedly reported.

Good good!

This app is excellent at what it does. But... it needs another feature: one or more memory registers. As it is now, in some cases you'll need paper and pencil to capture intermediates values, and then re-enter them. Which can become quite tedious, considering the value was available just a few steps prior.
