WHY THESE PERMISSIONS
• Location — required to calculate prayer times for your city and to point the Qibla compass correctly. Nothing else.
• Notifications and alarms — needed so the azan plays on time even when the app is closed.
• Storage (only if you choose it) — used to load a custom azan sound you select yourself.

A NOTE ON THE AZAN ALARM
Some phones — particularly Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo and Realme — stop background apps aggressively and can cancel scheduled alarms. If your azan does not sound, please allow AlamuSalah to run in the background and disable battery optimisation for it in your phone's settings.

AlamuSalah is free to use. You can start straight away as a guest; signing in with Google is only needed if you want your Qaza record saved to your account.
