I have played Go for a very long time. Then came the moment when AI surpassed human intellect. Whispers began to spread that "Go is dead." I even watched with a heavy heart as university Go departments closed their doors and public interest seemed to wane.

Yet, I love Go. Not simply for the thrill of defeating an opponent. "It is just a game. And yet, it is everything." There is a profound peace that settles in the moment I sit before the board. It allows me to simply… think.

I wanted to create an app for studying Go. A journey to be taken alone, yet not lonely—because now, we have a new friend named AI.
