Olanisargass helps you check the indicative status of monitored beaches in Guadeloupe regarding sargassum seaweed. Before heading out for a swim or a walk, the app provides a clear overview of the situation beach by beach.

— How it's calculated —

The analyses are generated server-side using free and public sources:

• Sentinel-2 and Sentinel-3 satellite observations (Copernicus, European Union).

• NOAA CoastWatch satellite data.

• Ocean and weather data (Copernicus Marine, NOAA GFS).

• Field reports submitted by the user community.

• No user account creation required.

• No phone geolocation requested.

• A local anonymous identifier (UUID) is used solely to prevent spam reports.

• You can delete your data at any time from the "About" screen in the application, or by emailing olanisargass@gmail.com.
