Maji Lini 976 – Tours d'eau

When will the water be turned back on at your home?

Maji Lini 976 tracks water rationing in Mayotte and answers this question at a glance: a clear YES or NO, the countdown to the next outage, and the schedule for your village.

YOUR VILLAGE, NOT AN APPROXIMATE AREA
97 villages and neighborhoods are listed. Type in yours: the app automatically finds your water rationing sector.

Beware of a common misconception: SMAE sectors are NOT geographical areas. Sector 03 covers Dzaoudzi, Sada, Choungui, and Combani Nord—each sector spans the entire island. It's a rotation group, not a neighborhood. Choosing "the North sector" because you live in the north will lead to filling your tanks on the wrong day.

WHAT THE APP DOES
• Immediate status: water available or cut off, with a countdown timer
• Complete schedule, several weeks in advance, day by day
• Alert before each opening AND before each closing, adjustable delay

(10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes) — the alert arrives even if the app is closed
• Targeted SMAE announcements: a cut in Tzoundzou doesn't disrupt Mtsamboro
• Leak reporting: photo, GPS location, and direct call to 02 69 61 11 42
• Advice for restoring water service: let it run, boil the water for the first half-day
• Works offline once the schedule is loaded
• No account, no registration, no ads

DESIGNED TO BE READ BY EVERYONE
Large font, contrasting colors, compatible with VoiceOver and TalkBack. In Mayotte, water is also a concern for the elderly: the main screen is just one word.

WHEN THE APP DOESN'T KNOW, IT SAYS SO
Water schedules are copied with each SMAE publication,

and then verified.
When the next schedule hasn't yet been published, the app displays "not
yet published" and redirects you to the official source — it never shows a past
week as the current week.
