User Reviews

User feedback shows the app can be very useful for data logging and compression testing when the Bluetooth connection on Android stays stable. Repeated issues center on Android: unstable connections, timeouts, and crashes across devices, with some improvements after updates on certain models. Users want auto-save and fuller data export. Overall, reliability on Android remains the main hurdle, while the core features work well when the connection holds.
Pros
  • Data logging is easy and straightforward when the device stays connected.
  • Works well with the Snap-on pressure gauge for effortless data collection.
  • After some updates, Android connectivity has improved for some devices (e.g., Pixel/Samsung), allowing it to work as intended.
  • The app enables easy recording of compression tests when the Bluetooth link is reliable.
Cons
  • Android Bluetooth connectivity is unreliable: frequent disconnects, timeouts, and short-lived connections.
  • App crashes or becomes unusable on Android across multiple devices (e.g., Galaxy Tab S6, J5, J4) due to Bluetooth issues.
  • No auto-save feature leads to potential loss of results during tests.
  • Export options are limited (only max/min values exported); missing full data points and easier data sharing.

Constant errors! App stop and exits in the middle of testing! Snap-on needs to fix this! Spend $1100 on a complete kit and you app is worthless! Fix it or refund my money! The analog gauge set is several hundred dollars cheaper therefore fix this issue. 🤬🤬🤬 I hope everyone reads this before buy their kit. I will bet no one from snap-on will respond

The update clearly didn't fix the bluetooth connection issue, but it still disconnects, stating it timed out. SnapOn needs to fix this ASAP.
