Bharat Files is a reference work, not commentary. Each story card names the historical sources behind it, and citations are visible in the app. The focus is on documenting events with references, so you can read the history and follow the trail to the original works.

This app documents a difficult period of history, including invasions and the conflicts of the era. It is about historical events and the people who lived through them — not about any religion or community. Indian Muslims are Indians, part of this land and its shared story; many resisted these same invaders and contributed immeasurably to India's culture and nationhood. Bharat Files does not promote hatred or violence against any group. History is our shared inheritance, and we believe every Indian deserves access to the full record.
