Gale — A strategic connection game played on a grid of dots. Draw edges between adjacent dots to build a path across the board. Player 1 connects top to bottom, Player 2 connects left to right. Simple rules, surprising depth.

Chomp — A deceptively tricky game played on a chocolate bar grid. Players take turns eating a square and everything below and to the right of it. The player forced to eat the top-left square loses. Easy to learn, mathematically fascinating.
