AR Detective

AR Detective is mobile game where you need to solve cases and challenges in Augmented Reality. You can choose different types of cases ranging from location independent cases to location specific cases within city or country or even globally. You can play the game by yourself or with group of people as team together or against each other.

Cases vary from short time-limited assignments like getting away from a place, defusing bomb or finding stolen jewelry to time limitless complex mysteries.

When you start using the app you log in to the game either as guest or registered user. With guest login you have access only to limited cases and functionalities. As registered user you will get access to more cases, different case types and functionalities as you get more experience points.

You solve cases by using the Scan tool to search nearby surfaces for augmented reality objects and clues. You will also use classifier tool for recognizing real-life objects with computer vision, artificial intelligence and machine learning. Recognized objects will be collected as corresponding 3D models in your inventory.

You will get clues related to the case and objects you have found periodically, clues are shown as messages in the screen and also stored to your case file.

Case is solved successfully when you are able to meet the case target before targeted time or if you are able to reach the desired score depending on the case type. When successfully solving the case the time and score are stored to the case and to your record and you earn experience points and levels based on them. You can then acquire new cases with experience points and gain access to extra features in the game.
